Devon Mohler (grades PreK-2)
My name is Devon Mohler and I am the school counselor for Nokomis School. I am so excited to be working in this incredible area. I studied at Rowan University and received both my bachelors degree (Psychology) and my master's degree, (School Counseling Kindergarten to 12th grade) there. I did two internships during my masters program, one at Marlton Middle School grades 6-8 and one in Maple Shade at Maude Wilkins Elementary School, Grades 3-4. I then worked in Bordentown at Macfarland Intermediate school briefly for grades 4-5 before landing this job! I have ALWAYS had a love and passion for helping children. I am the oldest of three children and have always taken on the role of being a leader and someone that others can count on. My biggest goal as a school counselor is to make every single child feel like the sky is the limit. So many times I have seen young children lacking confidence for many different reasons. I believe we need to start young on the importance of self esteem and teaching kids coping skills and strategies that can help them throughout the rest of their lives.
